I love fall weekends

It was another beautiful fall weekend!  Warm during the day with sweata-weatha in the evenings.  This is my favorite time of year!  I'm always a little torn because I love this time of year so much, but I know what lurks around the corner.  Snow. Ice. Winter coats.  It's enough to really flare up my seasonal affective disorder.

But for now, I'm just going to enjoy the crisp fall days we have left.  It's a few weeks early, but the leaves are really turning here and I'm guessing it's because the summer was so dry.  We drove the "rural route" to my grandparents house this weekend and the trees were really pretty.

Last weekend we visited Windmill Farm Market on their opening weekend.  Much fun was had by all.  The kids played and we had apple cider slushies and all shared a carmel apple.  I always wonder what parts of their childhoods my kids will remember and I kinda hope it's not the part where Mark pulls out his pocket knife, wipes it on his pant leg and cuts up a carmel apple for us.

Here's some pics from the trip.

Claire's in a huge Beauty and the Beast phase so she was thrilled with this!
